The original Surrender Agreement by Germany that ended WWII in Europe will be for sale.
Dealer Gary Zimet is shopping the 1945 historical document for $3.5 million. “It belongs to a client, and I am selling it on his behalf,” he said. “The clerk misdated it May 7 and handwrote May 8.”
He added, “There are only four other known copies — one of each belonging to the US, France, Germany and England.”
